Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in the state
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide short-term counseling to students as needed
- Offer consultative support to teachers regarding student needs and classroom interventions
- Assist in implementing behavioral plans and preventive mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
