Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a school-based opportunity in Tempe, Arizona. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development while collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.

Position Highlights

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student needs

  • Prepare evaluation reports and provide recommendations for appropriate educational services

  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Provide consultation and behavioral support to students, teachers, and families

  • Collaborate with school staff to develop strategies that promote academic achievement and social-emotional well-being

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable special education requirements

Qualifications

  • Appropriate Arizona School Psychologist certification or credential required

  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and working with school-aged students preferred

  • Knowledge of IEPs, special education processes, and student support services

  • Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
