Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 26/27 school year in Weston, MA. This role involves direct onsite work within a school setting, providing essential psychological services to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate student needs
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports and interpret findings to inform educational planning
- Manage referrals and determine eligibility for special education services
- Lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, including initial, annual, and triennial reviews
- Deliver individual and small group counseling to address social-emotional development
- Collaborate in developing and implementing academic and behavioral support plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts license as a School Psychologist is required
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and familiarity with special education processes
- Strong communication skills for report writing and parent/staff interactions
- Ability to chair IEP meetings effectively and provide counseling services
