Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by using your expertise as a School Psychologist in a dynamic full-time, onsite contract position. Collaborate with passionate educators to support student development and help ensure a positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Psychologist, or Temporary/Full Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- Professional approach that fosters collaboration within general education teams
- Proven experience working with school-age children
- Up-to-date skills in conducting multidisciplinary assessments
- Solid understanding of curriculum design and behavioral interventions
- Preferred: Background in supporting students with Special Education needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other education professionals to support student success
- Provide recommendations and develop interventions based on assessment findings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to create effective support plans
- Guide and help implement behavioral supports and evidence-based strategies within the school setting
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology, maintaining accurate records as needed
