Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing interventions
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and legal requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify students needs, strengths, and areas for support
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans and academic strategies
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to suggest evidence-based practices and foster student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide guidance on eligibility, goals, and accommodations
- Promote safe and inclusive learning environments through crisis intervention, counseling, and psychoeducational groups
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
