Desired Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic educational environments and multi-task effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret assessments to identify students cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support student achievement
  • Provide counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and staff as needed
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention, promoting a safe and supportive school climate
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal law
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices
