Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
• Current and valid Nevada school psychologist license
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
• Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
• Consult with educators and parents to develop strategies that address students' individual needs
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP teams
• Support crisis intervention and provide recommendations for student safety and well-being
• Foster positive school climates that promote mental health and effective learning
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines in practice
