Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
• Current and valid Nevada School Psychologist license
• Experience working with students of varying ages, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and individual education plans (IEPs)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to interpret data and develop targeted interventions

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students referred for special education services
• Develop and implement interventions, supports, and behavioral plans tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the creation and review of IEPs
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success and create inclusive learning environments
• Serve as a resource for school staff on issues related to behavioral health, learning disabilities, and best practices in education
