Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychologist license required
- Degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience working with high school populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Familiarity with state and district-specific compliance standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work in a fast-paced school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to identify student needs
- Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for interventions
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in eligibility meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Promote positive behavior and mental health awareness within the school community
