Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting assessments, counseling, and developing intervention plans for students
  • Comfortable with IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of students to determine academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling services
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and mental health
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective student plans
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulations and ethical standards
  • Offer crisis intervention and assist in the development of programs to promote a safe, supportive learning environment
