Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for school psychologist certification
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Proficiency in designing and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and requirements
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Develop and deliver targeted interventions for social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with teachers, families, and school administrators
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
