This travel opportunity for a School Psychologist offers a dynamic role supporting student success in Suffolk, VA, through comprehensive psychological services. Start immediately and impact student learning and well-being with a position running through June 6, 2025. Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, with schedules tailored to your assignments and preferences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic evaluations to identify student needs
- Recommending interventions to help students overcome psychological and educational challenges
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions
- Assisting with the identification, placement, and support of students requiring specialized services
- Implementing behavior modification strategies
- Collaborating effectively with parents, teachers, and staff
- Maintaining thorough records and preparing progress reports to monitor student development
To qualify, applicants must hold a valid Virginia School Psychologist License, demonstrating the credentials necessary to provide expert psychological services in educational settings.
