What were seeking:

  • Current South Dakota licensure as a school psychologist (required)
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students (experience in SD schools is a plus)
  • Willingness to work with diverse caseloads and assist wherever needed
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and student support
  • Intern applicants encouraged; supportive supervision available

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide data-informed recommendations to support student learning and development
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement individualized educational plans
  • deliver counseling and intervention services to meet students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams to address student progress and concerns
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and respectful school climate for all students
