This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated caseload of approximately 40-50 students in one building, facilitating meaningful change in students educational and social-emotional development. The assignment runs from late August through early June, aligning with the regular school calendar.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience completing assessments, evaluations, and IEP participation within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices in K-12 mental health support
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to supporting student achievement and well-being through proactive intervention
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations, and share findings with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and develop individualized plans
- Provide targeted interventionsboth direct and consultativefor students with academic, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student growth
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of services provided and student progress
- Offer crisis intervention and contribute to the prevention and response efforts within the school
