Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist, working with both elementary (K5th, 2535 students) and middle school (6th8th, 2030 students) caseloads for the 20262027 school year. This role involves supporting students in a vibrant educational setting, helping them achieve both academic and emotional growth through direct service, interventions, and collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students preferred
- Strong skills in developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to provide counseling and behavioral interventions effectively
- Solid background in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Familiarity with crisis intervention and student safety planning is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support IEP development for diverse student populations
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, behavioral, and social needs
- Implement behavioral interventions and monitor student progress
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and related service staff to ensure coordinated student support
- Contribute expertise to crisis intervention and help plan for student safety as needed
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with school protocols
This role spans a single building between elementary and middle school locations, offering a consistent and welcoming environment. The assignment begins August 31, 2026, and concludes June 4, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
