Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in school psychology (required)
  • Valid MN school psychologist licensure (required)
  • Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong knowledge of special education procedures, MTSS/RTI, and IEP/504 development
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
  • Provide direct counseling support and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Participate in problem-solving teams and provide input on academic/behavioral interventions
  • Promote a positive school climate by supporting students emotional and behavioral needs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
