Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and practices
  • Effective communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in developing intervention and support plans for students
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt to varying needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Interpret data to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Develop, monitor, and support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to support student mental health
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise for student support
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
