Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Experience working directly with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with assessment, intervention, and consultation practices within a school environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff, students, and families
  • Previous experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities is highly valued
  • Ability to travel between school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services to a diverse student population, serving multiple schools within the district
  • Conduct assessments for individualized education plans (IEPs), eligibility, and placement decisions for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement interventions tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and families to design and monitor strategies that support students academic and social-emotional success
  • Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise for Response to Intervention (RTI), behavioral planning, and crisis response
  • Participate in professional development and keep up with best practices in school psychology
