Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school environment
- Proficiency in psychoeducational assessments, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP process and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Ability to provide counseling, develop intervention plans, and serve on multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for special education eligibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Participate in the IEP process and assist in eligibility determination
- Deliver individual and group counseling services as needed
- Contribute to professional development initiatives and school improvement planning
