A full-time position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support secondary-level students during the 2026/2027 school year in Sterling Heights, MI. This role requires a dedicated professional certified as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan. The position offers a structured schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, aligning with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for secondary students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse needs
- Serve as a resource to faculty, parents, and administration regarding behavioral and learning concerns
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification
- Experience working directly with secondary level students in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
