A unique opportunity awaits for a licensed School Psychologist seeking to make an impact in the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract role is tailored for professionals driven to support students at the secondary level in an engaging, on-site environment.
In this position, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on fostering the well-being and academic success of middle and high school students. The workday runs from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, offering a consistent schedule that helps maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan
- Proven experience working with secondary-level students in a school setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor interventions for student success
- Effective written and verbal communication tailored for diverse school teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results to guide recommendations
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance academic and behavioral supports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Providing crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Supporting a positive and inclusive school climate
