This contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year places you at the heart of educational psychology, collaborating daily with a team of educators and families to assess student needs, develop targeted intervention plans, and foster a positive school climate. Youll work as a vital partner in promoting mental health and delivering interventions that support students academic and social-emotional success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification required
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings is preferred
- Proficient in conducting psychological assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Committed to collaborative, multidisciplinary work
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in school psychology and special education laws
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assess students using formal and informal psychological tools
- Interpret assessment data and collaborate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies and behavior plans
- Consult regularly with educators and parents, offering guidance and support
- Participate in eligibility determinations and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain compliance with all pertinent school and state regulations
