Job Description
A K-12 school in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a fully licensed Michigan School Psychologist for a contract position during the current school year. This onsite role involves supporting both secondary students and a few elementary students with psychological services and assessments.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Providing consultative support to teachers, parents, and school staff
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implementing interventions and strategies to support student mental health and academic success
- Participating in meetings related to student progress and special education services
Qualifications:
- Fully licensed Michigan School Psychologist required
- Experience working with secondary age students, with some experience in elementary settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite and manage a caseload effectively within the school environment
Location:
Sterling Heights, MI (onsite only)
Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, from ASAP through the end of the school year (approximately June 5, 2026)
