Make an impact supporting students and school teams as a full-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Stafford, VA. This contract position offers the chance to play a key role in student success, working 37.5 hours each week alongside educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
- Complete assessments and documentation required for special education eligibility
- Interpret testing results and deliver clear, data-informed written reports
- Participate actively in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and conferences with parents
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education professionals, and school administrators
- Provide support and input on behavior intervention planning and other student services
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Active Virginia School Psychologist credential or license
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility procedures
- Excellent skills in report writing and multidisciplinary collaboration
