Job Description

Make an impact supporting students and school teams as a full-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Stafford, VA. This contract position offers the chance to play a key role in student success, working 37.5 hours each week alongside educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
  • Complete assessments and documentation required for special education eligibility
  • Interpret testing results and deliver clear, data-informed written reports
  • Participate actively in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and conferences with parents
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education professionals, and school administrators
  • Provide support and input on behavior intervention planning and other student services
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Virginia School Psychologist credential or license
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility procedures
  • Excellent skills in report writing and multidisciplinary collaboration
