Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
• Masters or specialist degree in school psychology or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of assessment tools, multi-tiered systems of support, and IEP processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with youth from diverse backgrounds, is preferred.
• Ability to adapt practice to a dynamic, flexible school climate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data to help develop educational plans.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and monitor interventions and supports for students.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on behavior management, academic supports, and social-emotional learning.
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations.
• Foster inclusive, positive learning environments by promoting mental health awareness and wellness initiatives.
