A school district in Springfield, OR is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students through comprehensive psychological services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in the identification of student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and interventions to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to decision-making processes affecting student progress.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Offer consultation and training to staff on strategies to support student well-being.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
