Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or license as a school psychologist (or eligibility for certification in the state)
• Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education regulations
• Experience with psychoeducational assessments, FBA, and development of IEPs/504 plans
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
• Experience in school-based settings is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in determining eligibility for special education services
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parents regarding students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve student outcomes
• Participate in the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
• Crisis intervention and support as needed
• Advocate for students needs while fostering inclusive and supportive school climates
