In this role, you'll become an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with administrators, teachers, and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and academic assessments
- Strong understanding of IEP, 504 plans, and eligibility processes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Prior school-based experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop strategies for student success
- Consult with staff on behavioral, educational, and mental health concerns
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
