Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a School Psychologist working onsite with elementary and middle school learners. This contract opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals who possess strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills and want to be an essential resource for both students and staff throughout the academic year.

Youll work with a diverse caseload ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade, helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This assignment runs from July 30th to June 2 and offers a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to engage deeply with the school community and foster student success.

To excel in this position, you should bring:

  • A valid Kansas PSYCH license
  • Experience in educational psychology supporting K-8 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
  • A passion for creating positive, inclusive learning opportunities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individual and group counseling services
  • Conducting assessments, observations, and data analysis to guide interventions
  • Collaborating with educators and staff on student support strategies
  • Designing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Participating in IEP meetings and supporting 504 planning
  • Partnering with families to address student needs and connect to resources
