Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week) provides the chance to serve a vibrant educational community near Spotsylvania, VA. You will work alongside dedicated staff to ensure that every learner has the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a valued member of the educational team, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Complete assessments to determine special education eligibility
  • Analyze and interpret testing data, preparing thorough written reports
  • Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and administrators
  • Contribute to behavior intervention planning and student support services
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with required guidelines

Applicants should bring:

  • A Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • A current, active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility meetings
  • Proficiency in report writing and strong collaboration skills
