Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license (applicable to South Carolina or eligibility to obtain)
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Hands-on experience delivering psychological services in school-based settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and crisis response
  • Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS/RTI, and special education eligibility processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using various assessment tools
  • Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding academic, social, behavioral, and emotional student needs
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling for students in need
  • Contribute to the creation of positive, inclusive learning environments
  • Participate actively in team meetings, workshops, and professional development
