Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Active and valid Nevada school psychologist license
  • Experience working across various grade levels: elementary, middle, and high school
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, counseling services, and behavior interventions
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students academic, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to share findings and recommend best practices for student support
  • Deliver crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and ongoing support for students dealing with social or emotional challenges
  • Promote positive and inclusive school environments across K-12 settings
  • Ensure all documentation complies with local and state regulations
