Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in California
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with evidence-based counseling techniques for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students strengths and needs
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to educators and families
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect services to support students academic achievement and positive behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create nurturing, inclusive learning environments
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility, intervention, and support planning
