This contract opportunity is designed for dedicated School Psychologists passionate about supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educational teams in person. Starting in September and running through December, you'll enjoy a structured schedule of 32.5 hours per week while engaging directly with students across various grade levels.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement, meeting all state-specific standards
- Prior experience working in school settings and supporting high-needs populations, especially students with autism
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability for working across multiple school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Work closely with staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support high-needs autism caseloads with expertise and compassion
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to create inclusive, educationally rich environments
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and state reporting guidelines
