Job Description

Based onsite, this role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families, providing vital psychoeducational and behavioral support. With full-time hours and two positions available, both local and travel professionals are welcome to help nurture positive school climates and unlock student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active AZ Educator Certification
  • Current IVP Fingerprint Card
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessment and interpretation
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to foster supportive relationships across diverse student populations
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments to evaluate academic achievement, cognitive abilities, and social-emotional functioning
  • Interpret results to inform eligibility for special education services and create targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to promote student growth
  • Lead or participate in response-to-intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) processes
  • Counsel students individually or in small groups to address behavioral or emotional challenges
  • Document evaluations, service notes, and recommendations in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Remain onsite to deliver direct services and engage in team meetings throughout the school year
