Based near Smyrna, DE, this full-time position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will support students social, emotional, and academic well-being. You will collaborate closely with educators and families to develop strategies, facilitate interventions, and promote positive school climates.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid DE Educator Certification
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to interpret data and provide evidence-based recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators
- Provide direct support and interventions to students and families
- Assist in the creation of behavior management plans and support systems
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and recommend accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
