Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state School Psychologist certification or eligibility
  • Experience providing psychological services in educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Proficiency in psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, and IEP process
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and support teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students cognitive, academic, and emotional needs using standardized tools
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Provide direct intervention services, including counseling and behavioral support
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Support school-wide programs that promote safe, supportive learning environments
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

This is a contract, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week for the school year. You will serve as a valuable resource for students and staff across K-12 settings, building rapport and enhancing educational experiences in a collaborative, supportive community.
