Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (State of Alaska or eligibility for certification)
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Previous experience in K-12 settings is highly preferred
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to positive school climate

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings, IEP development, and ongoing student progress reviews
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support effective interventions
• Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and ethical guidelines
