Key Qualifications:

  • Current South Dakota license as a School Psychologist required
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Open to experienced professionals as well as interns, with a flexible approach to caseload
  • Experience in South Dakota schools is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students across K12
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in problem-solving and eligibility meetings
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support the development of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school climate
