We are seeking two contract professionals to serve full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting children from birth to age five across the Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County areas. This is a chance to make a vital difference during the formative years, collaborating with school teams to enhance student well-being and development.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Oregon School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with young children, preferably within the birth-to-five age range
- Strong knowledge of early intervention services, assessment tools, and best practices for preschool populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites and diverse communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, observations, and consultations for children ages birth to five
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify needs and develop individualized plans
- Participate in eligibility determinations and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs or IFSPs as appropriate
- Support staff and families by providing resources and strategies that foster emotional and behavioral growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in adherence to state and federal guidelines
- Travel between assigned schools in the Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County areas
