Job Description

This contract opportunity begins August 5, 2026, and runs through May 19, 2027, offering dedicated professionals the chance to make a significant impact throughout the academic year.

In this full-time position, you'll work 35 hours per week, with specific campus assignments and age group caseloads being finalized by the district. As needs are evolving, adaptability and a willingness to serve across different campuses are highly valued. The district supports flexibility for qualified candidates, considering a 4/1 hybrid schedule for those able to demonstrate strong qualifications and a valid reason for such an arrangement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active DOE Certification is required
  • Completion of fingerprinting and all district credentialing before the start date
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various campuses as assignments may vary
  • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies tailored to student success
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute meaningfully to IEP meetings and student planning
  • Stay current with best practices and district protocols
