Job Description

Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a Bilingual (Spanish) School Psychologist during the 2026-2027 academic year. Serving a diverse student population, you will play a vital role in assisting with assessments, interventions, and behavioral supports. You will be working onsite for 30-32.5 hours per week, supporting students across all grade levels as part of a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Educator Certificate (School Psychologist)
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience or confidence working with students of various grade levels and backgrounds
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals
  • Flexibility in addressing varying caseloads and adapting to changing school needs

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations using a variety of tools and best practices
  • Deliver culturally responsive counseling and intervention services
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams in designing and implementing student support plans
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to families and educators
  • Promote positive social-emotional learning and offer crisis intervention as needed
  • Contribute to planning and delivering professional development for staff, where appropriate
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
