Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Educator Certificate (School Psychologist)
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
  • Comfort working with diverse grade levels and caseload types
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and developing intervention plans
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional growth

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design supportive interventions
  • Deliver counseling and consultative services to students
  • Develop and help implement IEPs, supporting diverse learning needs
  • Participate in eligibility, intervention, and crisis response meetings
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and compliance standards
