Make a real difference in the lives of K-12 students with significant needs by using your expertise as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity near Shawnee, KS, runs from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027. The school district is seeking in-person psychologists to provide comprehensive testing and evaluation for students with intense disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or communicate using assistive technology devices.

Successful candidates may serve across multiple school sites, working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff. Youll have a meaningful role supporting students educational journeys while further developing your own professional skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• State licensure/certification in School Psychology required
• Experience with K-12 populations, especially students with significant disabilities
• Proficient in conducting assessments for non-verbal, physically impaired, and AT device-using students
• Flexibility to travel between multiple campuses as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological assessments for special education eligibility
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student needs
• Develop recommendations for accommodations, interventions, and supports
• Maintain comprehensive reports and comply with district and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and planning for students with disabilities
• Details regarding the specific caseload will be shared during the interview process
