Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students in a contract opportunity for experienced School Psychologists or Psychometrists. This position, based in the Semmes, AL area, is perfect for professionals dedicated to improving students academic, social, and emotional well-being within both public and private school settings.

Enjoy working on-site (remote work is not an option), with a commitment of 37.5 hours each week, serving either one central campus or supporting an itinerant caseload across multiple schools. This role covers the 2025-2026 academic year with a strong chance for extension into both ESY (Extended School Year) and NSY (Next School Year), depending on performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Active school psychology license in Alabama required
• Experience as either a School Psychologist or Psychometrist
• Comfortable working with K-12 populations
• Ability to present proof of licensure during onboarding
• Willingness to travel between schools (if appointed to private school cluster)
• Demonstrated ability to handle varying caseloads and adapt to multiple school environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and provide ongoing student support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student success
• Develop and maintain student records in accordance with state and federal policies
• Attend team meetings and contribute expertise on student services
• Participate in on-site interviews and internal eligibility screenings
