Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Valid school psychologist license for the state of Kentucky
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
• Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, school staff, and caregivers regarding student needs and best practices
• Participate in meetings such as IEPs, 504s, and student support team sessions
• Offer crisis intervention and assistance as needed, maintaining a safe and supportive school environment
• Support positive behavioral interventions and develop strategies to enhance students educational experiences
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
