Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid school psychologist license for the state of Kentucky
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, school staff, and caregivers regarding student needs and best practices
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs, 504s, and student support team sessions
- Offer crisis intervention and assistance as needed, maintaining a safe and supportive school environment
- Support positive behavioral interventions and develop strategies to enhance students educational experiences
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
