Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting the mental health and educational success of students in the Phoenix area. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced School Psychologists who thrive in dynamic school environments. Youll work in close collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and families to deliver essential psychological services, performing evaluations, creating actionable plans, and making a tangible difference for children from elementary through high school.

Multiple full-time positions are available, with weekly schedules and campus assignments tailored to meet district needs across several schools, including elementary sites and a high school. Approximate caseloads are around 60 students, with an estimate of 12 evaluations per day. Each assignment will involve both pen-and-paper assessments and the use of the schools Google Suite and Synergy platforms.

Preferred Skills and Licenses:

  • Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
  • Current IVP Fingerprint clearance card
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy school systems is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments
  • Self-motivated, able to quickly acclimate and work independently

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing written reports
  • Collaborating with educators and caregivers to develop and implement student support plans
  • Facilitating and participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Offering crisis intervention and counseling where appropriate
  • Maintaining detailed and confidential student records in compliance with district and state policies
