Position Overview: An opportunity is available for experienced School Psychologists to serve in a dynamic school district within the Phoenix area. These full-time contract roles involve working with elementary and junior high students across multiple schools, offering varied responsibilities including conducting evaluations and supporting special education services. The district is committed to fostering student success through thorough assessment and intervention.
Location: Positions are based in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. Assignments include Stephenson Elementary School for one role, while the other position will float between Mesa Academy, Adams Elementary, and Taylor Junior High School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 12 evaluations per day, managing a caseload around 60 students.
- Provide psychological services and support to students with special education needs.
- Utilize Google Suite and Synergy platforms to document and communicate assessment data (experience with these tools preferred).
- Perform evaluations primarily using pen and paper methods.
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and state certification requirements.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and manage caseload efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Arizona Department of Education Certification with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Proven ability to be a self-starter and function effectively in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy is a significant advantage.
- Availability to begin ASAP through May 21, 2026.
