Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona (AZ) School Psychologist credential (required)
- Experience as a school psychologist in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment techniques and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Comfort managing an elementary caseload and working with diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 45 comprehensive evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions
- Consult with general and special education teachers on effective intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and parent conferences
- Collaborate with school staff to foster positive learning environments and address behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
