Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Illinois School Psychologist License
- Possess a valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Create individualized plans to support students academic and social-emotional development
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and strategies
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building sessions to students
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and timely documentation
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and special education eligibility processes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
