Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in School Psychology (required)
• Valid New Mexico school psychologist license
• Previous experience in K-12 (elementary, middle, and/or high school) settings preferred
• Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation services
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff from varied cultural backgrounds
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and student advocacy

Responsibilities include:

• Provide psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct counseling services and behavioral interventions to students
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive, inclusive strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student success plans
• Respond to crisis situations to support student and school well-being as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
