Required Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments with children and adolescents (K-12)
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state special education law
  • Exceptional communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills to manage evaluations, meetings, and documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs and recommend interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop and implement IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Support families and staff through consultation and educational workshops
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all deadlines and compliance requirements
