Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by providing vital psychological services to students in a supportive educational setting. As a contract school psychologist, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote student well-being, address learning challenges, and foster positive outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, intervention planning, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and needs in academic, behavioral, and emotional areas
- Develop evidence-based interventions and recommendations to support learning
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention as needed
- Maintain clear, confidential records and documentation in compliance with guidelines
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Stay updated with best practices and attend professional development as appropriate
