Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active New Mexico School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong skills in conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being
  • Consult with educators and families on strategies to address learning or behavioral concerns
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required by school policies
  • Contribute to crisis response and facilitate conflict resolution as needed
