Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Active New Mexico school psychologist license required
  • Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Familiarity with special education evaluations, IEP processes, and multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to providing inclusive, equitable mental health support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on student needs, interventions, and accommodations
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development and success
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support positive behavioral outcomes
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and preventive mental health programming within the school community
