Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid School Psychologist credential (required; counselor credentials not accepted)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to provide effective psychological assessments, individual and group interventions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Must be available for onsite work; remote/voco options not offered
- Open to travel professionals eligible to work in the state
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations as part of student support teams
- Develop and implement effective response plans for students learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to promote a positive school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessments and recommendations
- Document and report student progress according to district standards and confidentiality requirements
- Support onboarding and induction for new personnel as part of the large district-wide psychology team
